The Deacons provide the outreach function for the First Presbyterian Church. They assist those in our Greater Haverhill Community who are in need as well as the members of the Church Family.

Direct care for our Church families is provided with visits to our home-bound members in need of cheer, offering them our support and giving them thoughtful gifts, both material and spiritual. Other important duties include efforts such as sending cards on special occasions, remembering loved ones with memorial gifts, bringing meals to families in crisis, overseeing fellowship coffee hour, welcoming newcomers to our Church and services, and our annual Christmas caroling to our home-bound and others in need of cheer!
