Nashua Presbyterian: Resources

Oremus Bible Browser: an online Bible. We call the Bible the Word of God because it contains His message to humanity and is a means by which He speaks to us. Many presbyterians use a popular English translation called The New Revised Standard Version (or NRSV) which is available from OBB.

Revised Common Lectionary: The lectionary is an important part of our service and one or more of the texts usually provide a basis for the weekly sermon. Typically, it contains a reading from the Old Testament, a Psalm, a reading from the New Testament, and a reading from a Gospel.

Presbyterian Church (USA): PC(USA) is our denomination. Our beliefs are expressed in creeds and confessions based on biblical teachings, and written over the centuries. These creeds and confessions provide a broad outline of what we consider important in Christian faith and are compiled into the Book of Confessions [pdf], the first half of our Constitution. The Church government is democratically elected and adheres to the Book of Order [pdf] for definition. The Book of Order is the administrative half of our Constitution.

PC(USA) Seal: The seal (the one in the upper-left corner of this site) is full of symbolism. You can read about its design and what it means.
